Occupational Therapy Department

This Department plays a vital role in making each child independent in the following areas:

• Self Help skills
• Fine Motor skills
• Sensory integrative skills
• Pre-vocational skills

Following and individual assessment for each child, goals are formulated and intervention is implemented through individual sessions.

Adaptations, modification and splints are designed to enhance independent performance of self-help skills.

Group and classroom sessions act as an adjunct to therapy. Follow-up is maintained through parent-therapist meetings and a customised Home Programme is handed out.
