FUND RAISING
AL NOOR IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION, run under the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, but not funded by it.
The programme offered is comprehensive, professional and meets the holistic needs of the students. Therefore, the staff to student ratio is high, and the cost of training each child annually is close to 23,000 dirhams.
However, the annual set fee is only one-third of the above cost incurred by the Centre each year. Furthermore, many families are unable to meet even the subsidised fee amounts. Hence fund raising is a necessary and on-going task.
In the absence of any Government or other official source of regular funding, it is the Board of Governors and the Fund Raising Department who find the remaining two-thirds of the total operation costs.

Until regular funding is obtained, fund raising will continue to be an essential part of the Centre’s activities.
How can you help:
Al Noor hosts many fund raising events throughout the year, covering the whole gamut of ways for people to help raise money for the school whilst having a great time. From family days out to raffles and Balls we have many ways you can both enjoy yourself and help raise money for a good cause.
